These terms apply to everyone using CreatorMatch. By signing up you agree to them. CreatorMatch is operated by [REGISTERED COMPANY NAME], registration number [REG NUMBER], Cape Town, South Africa.
We're a marketplace. Brands post briefs describing content they want made, and creators apply to make it. The agreement for any piece of work is between the brand and the creator. We provide the platform, hold the payment while the work is being done, and release it when the content is approved.
We are not an employer, an agency, or a party to the deal itself.
You must be 18 or older. If you're signing up for a company, you must be allowed to act on its behalf. Keep your login details to yourself — anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
Creators: free to join. The free plan includes three briefs a day, plus one extra per day for each creator who joins using your referral link. A paid plan with unlimited briefs is available at the price shown on the site.
Brands: free to join. On a paid deal, CreatorMatch keeps 15% of the agreed amount and the creator receives the rest. On product-only deals, a flat fee applies as shown when the brief is posted.
We'll give you notice before changing prices.
When a brand accepts a creator's application, the brand's payment is taken and held. When the brand approves the delivered content, the creator's share is released to their bank account. If the brand doesn't respond within the period shown on the deal, the payment releases to the creator automatically.
Each deal includes one round of changes. Beyond that, the brand and creator can agree more work at an agreed price.
If you're a creator, you confirm that the content you submit is your own work, that you have permission from anyone appearing in it, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.
Usage rights are set out in each brief — where the brand may use the content and for how long. Those rights transfer when the brand approves and the payment is released. Outside of what the brief sets out, the creator keeps their rights.
You give us permission to display your submitted content within the platform so the brand can review it.
Referral rewards apply to genuine signups by real people. Creating accounts to earn rewards, or referring yourself, means we may remove the rewards and close the accounts.
We can suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
If a brand and a creator disagree about delivered content, either can raise it with us while the payment is still held. We'll look at the brief and what was delivered and make a decision. We'll be fair, but we're not a court, and our decision on releasing a held payment is final.
We provide the platform as it is. We don't guarantee that a creator will get briefs, that a brand will find someone suitable, or that the platform will always be available.
To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the fees you've paid us in the three months before the issue arose. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.
You can close your account at any time by emailing [YOUR EMAIL]. Any deals already in progress must be finished or cancelled first. We can close accounts that break these terms.
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email you before it takes effect. Carrying on using CreatorMatch after that means you accept the change.
These terms are governed by South African law, and the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction.
